Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! On December 6th, 2019 Tranceformations Tattoo & Bodypiercing was purchased by Kasi MacGregor and became Good Form Piercing & Tattoos. We have retained all of your records from before, and have most of the same trusted staff you know and love.

We can only pierce with jewellery that was previously bought from Good Form or Tranceformations in the past. We are able to reuse your pieces as long as it has only ever been worn by you, the finish has not been compromised, and it is an appropriate gauge/length for the piercing you are wanting done. We guarantee all of our piercings' success, so unless it was previously purchased here we are unable to verify the quality of the piece.

Piercings have a service fee of either $60 or $70 depending on the piercing, jewellery is not included in our service fee, as its costs will vary depending on your piercing location and style you choose. See a comprehensive list here .

The cost of your tattoo will depend largely on the tattoo that you want to get! You will need to discuss all of the details of your idea with your artist (size, details, colour/black and grey, placement) in order for them to give you an accurate quote. Small tattoos will be quoted as a set amount so that there are no surprises and you know exactly how much to budget. Tattoos over 3 hours will be charged at $170/hour. Your artist will do their best to estimate how long the tattoo will take in advance. All tattoo appointments require a non- refundable deposit of $50 per hour booked.

Our artists do create original, pre drawn tattoo flash that you can pick from. Flash is displayed in the shop, and on the artist's individual Instagram accounts.

We encourage everyone looking for a tattoo to bring as much reference as possible for our artists to draw from, but keep in mind 99% of the time we will not replicate a tattoo exactly. Think about it this way: You found a cool tattoo on google/pinterest/ tumblr/instagram, but so did the other millions of people searching for tattoos on the internet. Our artists want to give you something beautiful and unique that will stay true to you for a lifetime and will advise you accordingly.

There is not one specific answer to this question,  it’s different for everyone. Usually there  is some discomfort during a procedure, but not necessarily a lot of pain. Although some people are of the opinion that the procedures we perform are painful, we do everything in our power to make sure the experience is as quick and comfortable as possible. In short: it’s probably not as bad as you’re imagining.

Always follow the instructions of the artist who performed your procedure! Here are our guidelines:

Every procedure is different, and every body is different, but if you call or email us with your specific details we can give you more information on your particular situation.

The short answer is no. Tattoos must be fully healed before you can submerge them in any body of water (pools, lakes, oceans, rivers and even bathtubs). For piercings it is advisable to wait until the piercing is healed, but no less than three - six months before submerging it in any body of water. Disregarding this suggestion will dramatically increase your chances of infection.

Yes! No matter how old you are, we require a government issued photo ID for every tattooing and piercing procedure. Acceptable ID is a driver's license, citizenship card, care card or passport. For minors we will accept government issued ID with no photo, such as a birth certificate or care card, as long as the parent/guardian is present and has their own government issued photo ID.

For piercings the age limits vary. Click here to view our piercing age policies. The age for tattooing is 18. No exceptions.

Please look over our return/exchange policies here.

The APP is an international health and safety organization and one of the only regulatory bodies for the piercing industry in North America. They are dedicated to the dissemination of information and continuation of education for body piercers everywhere. As members of the APP, it means that we adhere to all of their jewellery, sterilization, and piercing standards.
